How To Use Time Stretch in Adobe After Effects CC 2023:

  1. Open a Composition
  2. Add Layers of Animation to speed up or slow down
  3. Select Layer
  4. Right-Click or go to Layer Menu
  5. Select Time…Time Stretch
  6. Drag % Slider to the Right to Slow Down (higher %)
  7. Drag % Slider to the Left to Speed Up (lower %)
  8. Click Ok
  9. Tap Spacebar to Preview

How To Add Stretch To Layers Panel:

  1. Right-click on Header area in Layers Panel
  2. Select ‘Stretch’
  3. Click on % to open Comp Settings or,
  4. Drag to left to speed up
  5. Drag to right to slow down
