This tutorial will show you how to manage Text Stroke & Fill in the new Properties Panel  in Adobe After Effects CC 2023 using Time Stretch.

AE Version Required:
23.4 or Later

The Properties Panel does not currently have ‘Swap Colors’ so use the Character Panel if needed

How To Open Properties Panel:

    1. Tick the Box above Comp Window ‘Auto-Open Panel’
    2. Tick the icon next to it
    3. Select any Text or Shape Layer
    4. Properties Panel will open automatically


How To Turn Off Text Fill & Stroke Colors:

    1. Select Text Layer
    2. Go to Properties Panel
    3. Untick the box ‘Fill Color’ to turn off Fill
    4. Untick the box ‘Stroke Color to turn off Stroke


How To Change Fill & Stroke Colors:

    1. Select Text Layer
    2. Go to Properties Panel
    3. Click the Color Swatch of Fill or Stroke to open Color Picker or,
    4. Click on the Eyedropper Tool and select a new color.
