Description:
This tutorial will show you the keyboard shortcuts to navigate (jump to) keyframes on all layers or only on selected layers or properties in Adobe After Effects CC 2023.

Keyboard Shortcuts:
U:  Tap ‘u’ key to show all keyframes
K:  Move to next keyframe (forward)
J:  Move to the previous keyframe (reverse direction)
Shift + K:  Move to next keyframe on a selected layer or property (forward)
Shift + J:  Move to the previous keyframe on a selected layer or property (reverse direction)

To Jump from Keyframe to Keyframe (All Layers):

  1. Press ‘K’ to move to the next keyframe (forward)
  2. Press ‘J’ to move to the previous keyframe (reverse direction)

To Jump from Keyframe to Keyframe (Selected Layers):

  1. Select a layer or multiple layers
  2. Press ‘Shift + K’ to move to next keyframe on selected layer(s) (forward)
  3. Press ‘Shift + J’ to move to previous keyframe on selected layer(s) (reverse direction)

To Jump from Keyframe to Keyframe (Selected Layer Property):

  1. Select a layer property or multiple layer properties (ex. Position, Scale, Rotation, etc)
  2. Press ‘Shift + K’ to move to next keyframe on selected properties (forward)
  3. Press ‘Shift + J’ to move to previous keyframe on selected properties (reverse direction)
