What is a Freeze Frame:
A still image create by ‘freezing’ a video or animation and taking a snapshot of one frame that can be used as a still image or graphic.

Split Layers: Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + D
Trim Layer to CTI: Opt/Alt + Right Bracket

How To Create Freeze Frames in After Effects:
- Open After Effects
- Create a Composition
- Add a Video or Animation
- Drag CTI to place in video to ‘freeze’
- Split Layer (Edit Menu…Split) or Cmd + Shift + D
- Select layer to be ‘freeze framed’
- Right-Click
- Select ‘Time’
- Select ‘Freeze Frame’
- Drag out Freeze Frame to control duration
- Drag out Original Video to play after Freeze Frame Duration
