What is affiliate marketing?:

This definition comes from Pat Flynn of Smart Passive Income: Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make. Simple Definition: I like a product and sign up as an affiliate partner. I promote the product to my listeners and audience I receive a commission for every product that gets sold. Legal: You must always disclose when you are promoting a product and getting an affiliate commission. Be sure to always honor this legal obligation as it is no big deal and the right thing to do. My disclosure statement: Some of the links on this page are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you decide to make a purchase. I only recommend products I use and love and if I think will be useful for you or your brand.

Affiliate Marketing for Podcasters is a Win-Win for everyone. Why?

I promote someone else’s product and each time someone makes a purchase, the vendor wins. I tell you about a product that I use and love and it helps you create content better or it improves your business or life so you win. I get a small commission or maybe free products so I can afford to keep making content, so I win. Be Authentic: Only promote products you use or believe in and that you sincerely think will help your listeners or audience, affiliate marketing is all good in my book It’s not about the money, it’s about the value of products or services you are recommending and as long as you never lose track of this, affiliate marketing is a great thing in my opinion. Advantages of Affiliate Marketing: –Making Money –Promote other people’s products rather than having to create everything yourself –Your audience gets introduced to great products and services you believe in and you are confident will help them. –Establish yourself as an authority, while making money so you can keep making content.
