I am your host, Mike Murphy ((a one man band and technology junkie, who loves to help people figure things out). I am really excited to be here with you today. The goal of Mike Murphy Unplugged is to help you learn what you need to know in order to create online content so you can move forward in business and in life.
Purpose of episode:
This episode is to give you a behind the scenes view of my story and what to expect from future episodes of Mike Murphy Unplugged.
Are you a one man/woman band where it feels like you have to learn and do everything yourself? Do you suffer like I do from being a jack of all trades with too many great ideas in your head? You get all excited about something and then you wake up with a new idea? It’s exciting and maddening at the same time. But don’t worry, I’m here to help.
This is a podcast that documents my journey which led me to blogging and starting a podcast.
I will be sharing my knowledge, skills and insights to build a community of like-minded people who want to make a dent in the universe no matter how big or small. My goal of the podcast is to provide as much value to you as possible in under 15 minutes to motivate you to just keep making content and moving forward.
This podcast will teach the tools of the trade of running an online business and podcast and topics will include:

- Building a website and using WordPress
- How & Why to launch a podcast
- Graphic design,Entrepreneurship & Productivity
- Curated content and social media trends

- What is in your podcast toolkit? I will be asking fellow podcasters what their go-to tools are
- Guest interviews in the very near future
