How To Animate Texture Layer in Adobe After Effects CC 2023:

    1. Create New Composition
    2. Add a layer such as a paper texture to be used as background
    3. Select texture layer
    4. Drag CTI to the beginning of the Timeline
    5. Tap ‘P’ for Position Property
    6. Click the stopwatch next to Position to add a keyframe
    7. Drag CTI to the end of the Timeline
    8. Move texture file in the direction of the desired animation so it is just off the canvas
    9. Tap SpaceBar to preview the animation

How To Add CC RepeTile Effect in Adobe After Effects CC 2023:

    1. Create New Composition
    2. Add a layer such as a paper texture to be used as background
    3. Select texture layer
    4. Go to Effects & Presets (Window…Effects & Presets)
    5. Search for ‘CC RepeTile’
    6. Drag effect on texture layer

How To Adjust CC RepeTile in Adobe After Effects CC 2023:

    1. Drag the CTI to the center of the timeline so the texture is half on the canvas and half off
    2. Go to Effect Controls panel where CC Repetile was added
    3. Change the properties in the direction to extend the texture (Extend Right, Left, Up, Down)
    4. Keep moving CTI and adjusting the CC RepeTile Extend values until the end of the animation
    5. Press Spacebar to preview

How To ‘Fix’ the seam in the repeated texture:

    1. Go to Effect Controls Panel
    2. Change the Tiling from Repeat to Unfold
